PERSI & Sports

With the recent 2007 release of the Periodical Source Index on Heritage Quest Online, I became curious as to which sport had the most entries in PERSI. So using the sport name as a keyword, I discovered that there are 1484 entries for baseball in the United States, 858 for basketball, and 674 for football. Because I know that many of these entries are high school or college team photographs, I also checked the entries with the specific record type History, and found there were 986 entries for baseball, 101 for basketball, and 144 for football.

Decisions

The biggest problem I had with setting this up (no, not the technology, which is easy) but the decisions! Do I want to use my own name or be creative? Select a password. (How can I remember all of my passwords without writing them down, then what's the point?) Title my blog. Wow. Choosing a name is so identifying. Who am I? Pick a template! Then throw myself out into the cold and let others know what's running around in my head.
